This scene has stuck with me. Because... it’s so beautiful.
You can tell that, in a way, they still love each other. Farah loves the idea of Rodger, but as she gets to know him more, she realizes that the reality of him is less pretty. (Guess I’m adding “Internet You” by Brynn Elliot to my Blue Girl playlist.)
This is probably the most romantic breakup ever. It reminds me of your favorite show ending... which is interesting, because I was expecting Blue Girl to end at the end of S1. But there is going to be a second season! #HypedForBlueGirlS2
But the thing about all of this is... it wasn’t really a breakup, because they were never dating. It was more like Farah telling Rodger that she was done. She didn’t want to keep being teased with the possibility and it never coming.
And on a more comical note, she’s so tired.
“I don’t want Jane’s sloppy leftovers.”
