“Brad?” Cassie guessed.
Jane shook her head. “It’s Rodger!!!! My one, and, only!!!”
“Rodger?” Cassie asked, sounding sarcastic. “Isn’t she friends with Daisy or something?”
I hope so, Cassie thought. The closer I can get to Daisy, the better!
“Who even knows?” Jane remarked. “Daisy isn’t good at keeping her friends, you know. L.O.L.!”
Cassie started to think. Daisy was pretty picky. She probably still is! She could’ve showed Rodger to the door by now. Jane is right, you just can’t tell with that girl.
“So who asked who?”
“Where are you going?”
“Exact time?”
Questions poured out of Cassie, trying to think about Jane’s first date, her big moment, instead of an old friend.
